Wonderful Wednesday: The Journey of Driftwood

These giant pieces of driftwood I photographed while hiking at Third Beach, which is at the mouth of the Hoh River.

I wonder how they got here, and what journey, along winds, tides and waves, brought these grand trees to shore.

The cliffs in the background show forest trees right on the edge, almost about to fall.

In time, they will land on the beach.

Me, in complete wonder and awe, exploring Third Beach. It was a beautiful morning!

Nature is dynamic, always moving, always changing.  Everything out here is so big.

To the Forest!
